Yes you can have one "accurized" and made to look Tacti-Cool, but at the end of the day, it's still a $300 rifle.

I know others will chime in with all the rails/lights etc, that's not what I mean. The action, rifle etc $300-$500, and $500 is being generous for what they are actually worth, even with all the "craze" non-sense.
I cant seem to find one in that price range where have you seen them go for that? thanks

Are they actually made by Norinco or just exported from China by Norinco? I learned this about the SKS but haven't really done a lot of research on the AK.

It's always fun if nothing else to go to Saxet and look around. Check for the next one in Dripping Springs and go have some fun. You may just find a good price on one.

Speaking of guns, what was final result of "got drawn on" thread?
                        Guess it got whacked.

And not trying to derail this thread.
Hope you find AK you are looking for OP.

I have a norinco mak 90 that says made in China. It originally had the thumb hole stock built like a 2x6 but that was on the short list of things to change out. I look at AK's as a rainy day, dependable, throw down battle rifle. Yes you can make them 1 MOA shooters but why? The cheap ones are just as reliable as the high end ones. That being said mine will never be sold, it's just to handy.

Great gun that will always go bang. The Russian 30 has a bit more pop that the 5.56 round and the AK's are less temperamental. AR's are even being built like AK's now with piston driven systems.
Now you just need to find one.
