    Thanks the post. My son and BIL are in the process of building me one and it is not to late for me to go with this design. I can see the advantages of it and believe it is by far the best way to build one.

                  Little bit more progress this afternoon. Got the ends capped off welded and ground, expanded metal installed on the bottom, second shelf rack welded in box, and one of the oak handles drilled and stained.
