Walk when they walk, and stop when they stop. Stay downwind of them and work their way SLOWLY.

It works a small % of the time. But all too often that spottin n stalkin turns into bumpin n chasin.

Only time I've had luck is in low light and there have been cows near by. If there are two ppl then get side by side to look like a cow and move slowly. We've walked to within 10 yards of 20 or more pigs like this a couple of times

We do 90% of ou spot and stalk hunts at night. With a good bow mounted light its so much fun. You can get within ten yards of some big ol boars

Hunting with a really good wind sure helps. 15+mph or more. I tell all the folks I take out that the first thing you have to do is beat their nose. Then sight then sound.

High wind after a good rain is almost cheating.
Not sure what I'm leaving out but here is one of my videos. Take a look at a few of them. It's not as hard as people make it out to be.
Check out this video on YouTube:

I cant add much to the above other than it is not as hard as some seem to believe. Wind is the absolutely most critical aspect. Then sound, then movement. As Tex said a good steady wind is awesome. It makes it easy to know direction and covers your sound. Also after dark they usually get very bold and get comfortable. There have been times that after dark in a good wind I have pretty much just walked up to 25yds and shot em. Light wind and daylight and it might take 30min to get 50yds. depending on cover etc. Hug the cover as much as you can, get close fast by using cover, creeks etc
