Dang kid! Text wreck again!

I guess my oldest didnt learn when she drove her car into a ditch a couple years ago while texting. Totaled that one, she was ok.
Today when she was leaving work she pulled out in front of someone while she was TEXTING! No one was seriously hurt.......yet! I want to kick her ***! I am ******. I'm very grateful she is ok as well as the guy she pulled in front of.
Her truck and his car are both totalled. When will people learn that it can wait?!?!?
If her insurance wasn't paid up I just might beat her senseless. No wait....she doesn't have any sense!
I'll bet anyone $100 she will ask if she can start driving my Mazda beater truck back and forth to work.
After 2 totals in 2 years while texting the answer will be NO!

Her BF told me the frame is bent and the rear end was ripped out. Cant really tell because of the sign.

Oh man, sorry to hear that. But TWICE would be no phone or car in my house for a minimum of 1 year. And my house and yard would be the cleanist and best looking around for the next year too from her hard work and sweat. Yep, I grew up with tough love. Good luck to you.

I can pretty much tell there is no rear end on that truck. My daughter would be walking after a second time. With no texting plan! Glad nobody was hurt!

She paid for the truck and her phone. At 20 I cant tell her anything. She knows so much more than me!

I've always explained to my kids what our expectations are. I usually allow for one mulligan, after that it's a tough life lesson for them.

Let her read the story on here a year or so ago about the mans family that was rear ended by someone texting..... it took his daughters life and maybe a son iirc.
