    Snake ID

I am generally pretty good at snake id, but this snake is in east texas and I'm not sure what it is. The photo isn't that great. It appears is that it's harmless. I've had many pet snakes and caught a bunch, but I just can't be sure in this one. Any ideas?

Not sure what it is exactly but pretty sure it is harmless. Doesn't look anything like the bad guys we have here in TX...

looks like a good ole chicken snake. They are under every bush in East Texas this time of year it seems.

Hard to tell from pic. I think the photographer was a little scared to get within 20 yrds of said non-venomous snake.
