Last year, I had hogs upon hogs to kill on my property. During deer season, I move my feeder into a fence with a food plot in it that will not allow the hogs in.
Fast forward to Jan this year. I move my feeder back out to allow the hogs to come back in so I have something to hunt year round.
Not a single hog on camera yet.....
The only thing that has changed this year is I now have a dog. This dog comes down to check the feeder once a week and pull the memory card.
Is the scent of this dog keeping the hogs away? (people hog dog alot around me)
Its the only thing I can think.
I know I know, most of you are thinking this is a good thing but I enjoy hunting them all year.
Seems far fetched to think they would stay away because of a scent once a week but who knows.
