Yikes, some scary looking injuries here.
Here is my list:
2005 - Ruptured disc in back that led to back surgery #1. Happened while shrugging 675lbs, I classify this as my fault for poor form when going heavy.
2007 - Ruptured two discs in lower back that led to back surgery #2. Happened while benching 315lbs almost exactly 2 years later. I wasn't maxing just doing reps and I had poor form arching my back on last rep.
2013 - Torn right bicep tendon that led to surgery because I tried to catch a falling over motorcycle. Stupid, I should have just let it fall over.
2016 - Torn left bicep tendon that led to surgery because I tried to move a large log off the access road at my friend's farm in Ohio. As soon as I lifted it I felt the tendon tear away, I actually passed out from the pain. Stupid because I knew it was too heavy but I tried to lift it anyway.
