    Polaris Ranger Online Quote

Here is the online quote I got.

Thank you for your inquiry. As I am sure you know the Ranger 900 Crew Sage Green lists for $14,399.00. I would like to speak with you about your exact needs and can then give you a complete drive out number.

Why can't they give me a drive out number in a quote?

Sales tactic, They know getting you in the door is half the battle, They also know you are price shopping and could use their quote to negotiate another deal with a different dealer.

      Respond back.

Thank you for your completely open to interpretation quote. Based on this quote, I feel a drive out number of $12,500 cash, which is about 500 above your dealer price would fit your needs. I would like to speak to whoever can take my cash price as listed above. You have 2 hours to respond or the deals off.

Yep they want you to call. I'm not doing it. Rather deal with someone upfront.

Basically, I did this over the phone when I bought my Crew. It worked for me.

They want people to finance. If you pay cash they will work a better deal to get it over with and off the lot. They need to move on to the folks who are going to finance. M16 probably wont be financing.

I got a quote from abarnathy cycles in Union City, TN on a 14 900 sage green xp ranger w/o power steering for 12,500 at the first of the year. Try talking to them, and have it shipped for $500.00

No response. Who care's. Polaris dealers are a dime a dozen.

At least they responded to you! I did that and no one ever emailed me back. Went elsewhere to buy mine.

I once asked a utv salesman about how much could he come off the retail price. He said that's what they sell for. It wouldn't be fair to sell one cheaper to you when others have paid full price. My response was yea, you are right. Seeya! I had to go home and look in the mirror. Just wanted to make sure I didn't have stupid written on my forehead

Did you ever get a price? I looked at one today, and they wouldn't budge off retail.

Just go down there and annoy the sh t out of them. Hell I will go with ya if not too far. They get frustrated when you start talking loud so that the other customers can hear. Sales tactics my arse I have buyers tactics. Call several use them against each other. Hell, I called your competitor and he told me you didn't even know how to assemble the Ranger... Have fun with it inevitably you don't have to buy if you don't like it.
