Should I buy a boat?

Ive been looking at boats for a while now and im finally in a position where i could purchase. Im looking at something small and mainly for fishin and maybe strolling the kiddos around. Maybe a early 90's skeeter or ranger.

Whats yalls thoughts? Convince or unconvince me..

For the kids/ fishing job, find a boston whaler. Super stable, great boats. You can ski or fish out of them with no problem if you've got the right motor, and it will never sink. Ever. Plus, they aren't to expensive if you're buying an older one outright

This is true.. Last year I bought a skeeter ZX250 and love it, selling it has never crossed my mind. Just make sure you have a place to keep it otherwise that is another monthly cost for storage. Then you have the maintenance on it plus if you are like me all the toys that can be added on. Mine is going in the shop tomorrow for its oil/filter changes. And might be coming home with a new set of power-poles.

My brother in law is selling his Boston Whaler. I've been looking at the Mako Pro skiffs.

Get a CC console. Makos are not that good of boat.
