I get a little clostic by the end of the season but I do most of my deer hunting from a ground blind because it is MUCH easier to video from. Getting good footage from a tree is a real challenge on a self filmed hunt. It is pretty easy from a DB Blind.

pop up for me. i dont think there is a suitable tree for a hundred miles from my place anyway
it lets me sit back and relax and enjoy being there instead of worryimng about staying still or dropping somethin. i can video, eat, dip, and well you get the picture. all in a ground blind. they are a peice of cake to set up and hide and it blocks the cold winter wind. i hate tree stands. i am scared of hieghts i guess when im hunting like that. i will climb any mountain but strap me in one of those i go into panick mode lol

I like both but around here I use tent blinds and permanent steel blinds too bowhunt out of.I love to be out in the open in a tree stand but the wind kills more than you know.I found that after using ground blinds I see more deer and more MATURE deer.......thats why I like the ground blind better.......but I would rather be out in the open.I do have to say its nice keeping stuff in the permanent blinds like...a heater....deer corn.....magazines.......ect...ect...
I also like the movement you can get away with in a ground blind and it makes it easier to film the hunt as well.

I'm leaning towards hunting more out of the tents for what seems to be pure ease. I usually can only steal a few hours here or there and to be able to just sit in the tent without having to climb, camo, etc... just sounds easier. I've never hunted out of one so I'll have to practice shooting out of it. I bought Ground Max from Cabelas for $129. Any suggestions about how to set it up and shoot from it. I know brush, brush, and more brush!!!

I like the pop-up from the shear standpoint it's extremely flexible and works in all terrains. It allows you to position in prime areas without having to find a suitable tree and it gives you a lot of feeder free flexibility in areas that are routes that don't have trees for setups.
Yes I prefer the view from above over the tent blind but....if it came down to one or the other, especially hunting new locations, the pop-up is fast, easy and very effective. I read when things get slow.
