I say sometimes you gotta put down the analysis software and stats and go with the person that has "it" (whatever that is). Bortles = Boring. I bet they do it.
I'm starting to agree with this. We need some excitement and I am starting to like the idea of the ultimate test for Johnny and the Texans. Front and center on the big stage...... Bring it !

JM is $ in the bank for at least two years. Regardless who he ends up with, people will watch that team for at least a year or so. Texans need that kind of environment, I think.

With the rookie salary cap they will not loose out on millions. They stand to make millions from him and jersey sales...etc. he can make millions from endorsements. If it doesn't work out they can cut him in 3yrs and still have money in the bank to build team...

I honestly have no idea...and I would bet the Texans front staff is undecided as well.

If they sign JFF, I will own my first ever Texans Jersey. So will a lot of other folks....
I do not want to buy a Browns or Jacksonville Jersey....

Makes it that high like he wont go first round or wont fall as low as 26th overall?

If they don't the backlash will be legendary. I don't see how you pass on a once in every 10 years athlete like Clowney. If they are able to trade down I would love to see them get another first in 2015. Better QB crop in that draft and with two first round picks trading to or near the top should not be a problem.

I'd like the sound of that if I were a Texans fan, give that young QB who started late last year a shot to earn it behind a better line with a good defense.

There is no way in holy hail he makes it to 26th! I'd be shocked if he gets to 10.

My thoughts exactly. I've never owned an NFL jersey but would want a JFF one for sure.

Isn't that a bigger risk than JM?

And JF's career will be ruined. That organization is second only to the Cowboys in worst managed team in the NFL.

Trade out of it or take Clowney. He's not even the top rated QB according to most people, except Aggie fans.

I don't see how Clowney is a once in every 10 year athlete. Hasn't JJ Watt only been in the league for 3 years? I don't think Clowney could hold JJ's Jockstrap.
