(Even though he's a touch higher than most) I wanted it done right since it'll probably be the only one I ever mount. Appreciando amigo!
Glad to help. Quality is worth the extra doe trust me. I can't wait to see it in the competition room. It must be a very pretty cat!!!
I am planning on taking a cat myself.

You can see some of Clay's mount on the Texas Taxidermy website.

                  ^^^^^ Word!!!

Anytime my taxi ask if he can use my animal for his competition piece, it'll be yes, yes, yes. And twice on Sunday.

Yea, it'll be a little longer before you get it back, but the trade off is, well, an outstanding piece of art that you will enjoy for a very long time, with no regrets.

Nice cat and I would without a doubt let him take it up a notch.

Thanks for the input. It's actually quite the opposite. Instead of 6-8 months the competition is end of April. Said he'd hand it over to me first of May.

                            Is that cat laughing?

I wish he'd ask me that. Clay has done several animals for me and is second to none on his cats. I'd said yes in a heartbeat without thinking twice.

I would though wonder why he doesn't make each mount "show quality" though? Maybe all taxis do this but doesn't seen right to me.
Most people couldn't afford show quality work. Time is money and when he puts 5 times as much time into every detail it will cost 5x as much!
