    Found this guy in our inventory building at work. Poisonous or not he needed to go. What kind was he?

            Looks like a coachwhip best I can tell. Looks like it was cloudy, color a little off. Harmless, unless he makes you hurt yourself. LOL

                    Good job! That indigo won't be eating any rattlesnakes now. :smile

                    Indigos are notorious for eating other snakes and are immune to rattlesnake venom. Before I bought my property, I killed every snake I saw...now, I try to identify the good from the bad. It's not easy, but I figure it's the smart thing to do.

                              Just an FYI, it is illegal to harm or kill an Indigo snake in the state of Texas. Some may wish to reconsider the whole dead snake=good snake idea as it pertains to protected species.
