Need mature pine trees removed from property (Conroe area)

We got 13 acres of woods with lots of big pines. We are wanting them gone. Anyone know someone in the area who does this? Any leads would be appreciated and thanks!

Can you sell them to a lumber company in the area?

Not living where there are pines, I was just wondering why you want them gone?

I live in East Texas. Pine trees a plenty. We want to open up the woods a bit behind the house. I won't miss the pine trees one bit.

How big are the pines Johnny and approximately how many are there? I don't usually travel that far, but for a TBH'er, I might.

If I run the pines through the chipper, can we blow em onto the ground or do the chips need to be hauled away?

This is for my dads place which is right down the street from me. He is wanting to sell the timber...don't know all the specifics on what pine is selling for these days. He's got plenty that would be worth someones time who comes out and buys the timber and resales.I'm sure you know way more about this than I do.

Text sent. This guy was referred to me by a man that does much more of this than I and he did me well when I logged my place.

You might not think you'll miss the pines now, but keep in mind Montgomery county has grown over 60% in the past 10 years. The woodlands is the fastest growing city in Texas right now and Montgomery county is in the top 25 fastest growing counties in the nation. Grand parkway will shift sprawl to a new level. Camp strake is now sold for development and the greater conroe area is about to explode. There is tremendous economic development pressure on the preserved areas such as jones forest and Sam Houston national Forrest.
Country won't be country too much longer there.

Obviously, if you have a specific management plan or purpose for your land that requires clearing that is another matter. I'm just a backwoods redneck clinging on to a memory of a rural Texas that is quickly disappearing. Sorry for my rant.

Hey brother, I'm right there with you. Hate seeing my area explode. I am just about pushed out of my bow hunting grounds which is 2 miles from my front door. The place I hunt is about 100 acres of mostly open pasture. The deer come out of the surrounding woods in the mornings and evenings to feed on my hunting grounds. Well, the woods where they come from have been getting cleared and homes going up. It's a sad sad deal.

Yes, there is a management plan we have in mind. The pines need to go. We still have plenty of other trees but they need room to grow.

Pine tree are for harvesting. If they get too big no mill will take them.

There is 3 companies in Porter that I know of. Jeff Pitts Logging, Alvin Smith Logging, and Texas Land Clearing (Ike Jackson). I have no clue if they're what your looking for but worth a shot.

Look up Woodys. Derek woody. He is a good guy and can handle it assuming you want the root ball gone too.
