What's the most cost efficient storage building size?

I am building a storage/pump house building around my water well. It will have a concrete foundation.

My question for TBHers is what is the more cost efficient size in regards to not having any wasted materials? Such as lumber, hardware, double doors, couple windows, etc.

I'm not looking for anything to big. Just enough for storage and to get me by while not having my new metal building yet.

As far as plywood cost goes, would the most efficient size for the money be a 12x16x8 building? Correct me if I am wrong but would I not have to make any cuts on plywood?

I plan on making the roof trusses on the ground then Raising them up.

Yes I am somewhat ignorant when it comes to carpentry.

Not much of an answer but my bil is a water well guy, and he hates it when there's a pump house over the well, I would think that it depends on how often you have to pull your well and how deep the well is. One other thing to keep in mind is storm season is upon us, lightning and control boxes don't play well together, be sure not to create a fire hazard.

No cuts minus the windows of course. And also, you might want to pitch your roof, so there may be so adding or subtracting cuts there, but nothing major. I try to use the same logic in all of my blind designs. Of course, those are only on paper

What are you going to do it your well needs work?

I made my well house so the flat roof and wall panels could come off pretty easy if needed.

              This is my thoughts.

I want it to be easily accessible if it needs work done. My parents have a pump house and have never had to have it worked on other than a new pump.

Anyone have any input on efficient size? Minimal cuts?

I have a 16x16 well house. The actual well and control box is outside. The pressure tank is inside. We have turned it into a real nice building. Still in progress.
