After dad's hunt this mornin, we decided it give it a rest the remainder of the weekend. Everything is packed up and ready for the north zone opener.

Well it's that time of the week....

Dad and I will be headin to our lease in Mason for the north opener this weekend. Scouting showed this place to be loaded with birds but it may take a while to get them figured out. Service is spotty in the pasture but I will at least update at lunch and in the evenings.

I should have never clicked on this thread... I hunt Karnes county, but now I live in Plano, and will not get a chance to hunt any turkey this year. Can't wait to start working for HPD and build time off so I can make some trips to turkey country!
