Hike mornings and evenings and drive the trails during the day or setup shade & rest. You must swim the Rio Grande into Mexico at Boquillas Canyon. Bring a pan to fill with ice chest water at night...your feet will thank you.

If you are headed North from Big Bend...hit Balmorhea State Park and swim. Stay at the Oso Lodge and eat at the Oso Restaurant. No matter what you do, you will have a lifetime of memories and never run out of places to go in the Big Bend/Big Bend Ranch/Black Gap WMA. Have a blast!

If you want stars with no people, take Juniper Trail and stay at Twisted Shoe campsite. Have a star party from your sleeping bag.

Man we had a blast.... I need to get some pics posted up. We ended up camping at Study Butte RV in teralingua.. An absolute hole in the wall "GEM". The owner went way of his way to treat our family like 1st class citizens... We were leary about it at first but he guaranteed us we would have a blast if we gave him a chance.. He definitely keep his word and my wife even said she would make the 10hr drive again the following weekend to stay there again.
