There was something about his style of story telling.
Even his description of brushing blinds in was interesting to read. How he set up on deer and his strategies.
You will be as good as he was in your own time. Love those kids and everything will be great.

I always enjoyed reading John's hunting adventures, he could keep you on the edge of your seat waiting for his next post to tell how the rest of the hunt went.

                Thanks for posting this Matt

Either way I miss his humor, I miss advice, and I miss my friend. He was the best of the best in my book, and I hope when my time on Earth is done I have affected half the number of people that John did with his life. It is certainly something to shoot for...

I have a couple more that are before the crash, I'll see if I can dig them up. I have the story of his first deer kill, and it is fantastic.

It would certainly help those new to the green screen "get it" sooner!

                          Matt:
TuthDoc came up in a converasation we had at our deer leaase last weekend. We were all talking about what a great guy he was, and how helpful he was. He had a wealth of good info on anything hunting related for sure. One of my best friends (who is on the lease with us ) used to be in a bass fishing club and fished with John in Bass tournaments We all miss him. Thanks for sharing this with us.

John has been ridin around the deer lease with me for years.

I think about him a lot when I see that.name tag on the visor. I hate that his grand kids won't get the full benefit of knowing John personally. I love the way my son adores his grandads.

                              RIP, John.

He was a great one, no doubt.

I think of you, and your family often, Matt.
                                Thanks for sharing that.
