    Shingles

Anyone ever had them before I'm only 32 and I told my doctor I'm not old enough to get shingles. He said they can happen at any age. They hurt bad an itch like crazy hope no one else has had the joy of knowing what I'm talking about

After you're over them for a while, they have a vaccine now.....get it! Know where you're coming from...prayers for quick healing!

I had them about 6 months ago and I'm 29.

It was about a month of awfulness.

I had them in 1978 and have scars that go from center of my stomach to the center of my back and all between in my left side. That was the most pain I have ever felt and wouldn't wish it on anybody.

never had them. But have heard they were a pain. At my physical last fall the doc gave me a shot for it. Im almost 61 now so I guess I will be getting more shots.

Mine were on my temple too.

Got an earache and my doc was worried I was going to loose hearing.

Good news is I didn't but it still hurt like a hot poker being pressed on my face and down my neck.

Yep, been there .... Wasn't any fun. Doc told me that there really wasn't anything that was sure to work. Gave me a perscription, it didn't work. Soon as you can get over it (or maybe before, not sure on that), GET THE SHOT.

I had them at 29, and am now 32. They came about on a deer hunt......on my butt cheek of all places!!! I thought I was bitten by a spider or ant numerous places in one area, but I also had a swollen lymph node in my groin. My mom is a nurse, and knew what it was right away. They weren't really painful, but itched like crazy!!!! The prescription drugs were too much for me to handle, so I just rode it out!!!!! They suck for sure!!!

Same story for me. I had heard so much about the pain that I got the shot last summer when I turned 60. Prayers up for you guys going through this, and for the fest of you - get the vaccine.

I had shingles when I was 16, across my stomach and lower back. No fun

Anyone that has had chicken pox can contract shingles at any time is what I was told
