You've got three kids and one on the way. You can have a kid anytime you want. In all likelihood this is a ONCE in a lifetime hunt.

I was averaging 100 nights per year on the road for work when my daughter was born in 1998. My wife was on bed rest also and I stayed as close as possible based on career needs. I will say this.......kids have been born for millennia without hospitals, doctors, families or husbands in the room or nearby. My wife would definitely say go stick that animal but we will be in contact constantly even if it meant having a satellite phone with me. it truly depends on the type of woman you married and the relationship you have developed. good luck either way!

It's your unborn child versus an animal hunt.

I made a similar error years ago. I have been forgiven but GUYS, women don't forget this kind of stuff.

You know how miserable bed rest is?

It's selfish to even be thinking about hunting.

Don't think I could put any hunt before my bed ridden pregnant wife. How could I enjoy the week?

The way i love my wife...what hunt.

Not even a question for me. Anxiety in any form cannot be healthy for a bed ridden mom.

Fill the daughter's tank with gas, but with the stipulation that she helps with the boys. The wife has given the ok. So go on the hunt and don't look back. Call her every night after you get back into the lodge.

Women are put on bed rest when their health, or the health of the unborn child is at risk. The answer is obvious.

Do you have to spend the entire week, cut it short. How far of a drive.Spend 3 - 4 days go home go back sounds crazy. Their is a way if you are willing..You going solo??
You know your wife better than any of us…Any family, friends around to check up on them, any place to send one of the kinds to stay.

Good lord, I guess I suck.

I'd pay for a home health nurse if the situation is that bad . And tell your daughter she will be there to help as well.

I'm not trained for a medical emergency, no need for me to be there.....

Don't listen to a bunch of guys on here, listen to your wife, and go hunt!
