Are there mountain lions in east texas, say near Jefferson, TX?

Yea. Tpwd has a map of confirmed sightings on the net. I think it was posted. According to plenty of people here, it's impossible for them to be in east Texas because there haven't been any pictures from game cams. That are predominately on corn feeders.

There are more in Texas than most people think(or want to believe) north east south and west. I know they're here in northeast tx.

They are everywhere. Just not seen many times. Everytime one is seen or ive seen one its been at night. I think they are mostly nocturnal.. thats why no one sees them much. Buddy of mine hit one in his work truck about 2 years ago...
