I almost dont believe it...Mountain Lion sighting

Guy on the ranch next to us just called. Saw a cat on our mutual fence line. Saw it once last week on his side and this morning on our side.

Fun stuff.

Apparently another neighbor has a picture of a black one on camera chasing a pig...I left that "sighting" alone.

I hope it is chasing pigs. I have a couple calves on the ground right now but the longhorn mamas are pretty good at taking care of their babies.

Buddy of mine lives near Wimberley. Last summer they had game cam pics of a mama and cub/cubs. Also, his neighbor, who is from a non-hunting, not nature oriented family called him to ask about an animal she saw crossing the street in front of her car-in daytime. After he heard her description, he pulled up pics of a bobcat and a mtn lion, and she said "That's it, that's it" as she pointed to the mtn lion. "It had a tail as long as its body"

I grew up out in the country between center point and bandera and my dad has seen one two different times.

Yea, I asked him to send me the picture of the black cat...

Just talked to him again. Apparently the cat that was seen was chasing a pig. They heard a loud squeal a few minutes later. I sent them over to investigate.

This guy has all the cool night vision stuff. Im looking for a $25 goat I can stake out. we have a spot that we can both see on our place from our back porch.

They are around you just don't see them. Talked to Game warden Bill who retired a few years ago and he said there are a lot of them that fallow the blanco river.
