I'll be in Vegas during this time but I don't know if I'll make the show.

There is now way in hail you would convince me to attend a hunting show if I was in Vegas.

I had asked 8 TBHers what cameras to get during the offseason and got 5 different answers. So I plunged in at the SCI show and bought these 4 from Stealth Cam outta Grand Prairie, TX. Only paid $70 apiece including tax and they retail for about $120-$127 from what I can tell online. These are the Stealth Skout-7 with ZX7 processors. We shall see as I don't get much life outta these dang cameras for some reason, but at $70 apiece including tax is was worth a shot in the dark!

Agreed.........LOL........we do North Lake Tahoe Hyatt and that is the only time we see Reno just not anywhere I want to spend time unless passing thru!

I just cant believe how pretty these animals are! Hinted to the wife about a Bongo but she was not biting. One went in the 3rd night auction for about $42,500!!!

One of my favorite pieces but the angle is horrid as folks were taking pictures with Boddington so it does not show much detail. the wolf is on the hoof of that ram and it is vivid!!!

Just getting back in my room, the wife ducked out today to do her own shopping! I had a blast on the floor today (feet hurt....lol) and looks like we found our New Zealand outfitter. We don't gamble but did leave a lot of money with multiple vendors....LMAO!

I was typing on my cell earlier so kept it short. U could be right but the general consensus here is that this is a much better venue! With 25,000 folks here from all corners of the world the flight issue to Reno definitely could be a huge negative! Personally I doubt SCI would go to Reno it is basically a cowtown now ......not that something is wrong with that......... but just not our first choice for a getaway. I even heard the discussions about Denver/Dallas/Houston are hot & heavy again for hosting this event.

With 2200 booths this year (waaay to many), next year they are selling 100 less.......obviously pricing will go up to justify less booth sales. I doubt many will complain as quite a few vendors shared with me that they had great sales this weekend!

If you don't mind me asking, what New Zealand outfitter did you go with??

2015 will either be a Cape or Leopard for me but if its a Cape I wanna go the old safari way with a double rifle.
