But dont know too much about them, so my quesyion is this
How are they? Gss mileage wise in town/ highway and are they dependable trucks??
No I dont have to haul anything just like it because of the room.

I've been driving Ford diesels for 20+ years. My 2012 6.7 is the best since the old 7.3 liters. It has great power. Good handling. Good top speed and is quick, quick, quick out of the hole. I get about 15 in town and about 17 on the highway. I didn't buy it for the fuel mileage. I bought it because they were selling it.

Great engine…..surrounded by a Dodge. If you wrap a diamond in crap, it loses some of its luster.

When talking about a 3/4 ton 4x4 the fuel mileage equasion should not be consideration

Ok didnt mean for this turn into a major debate. I just want to know how they drive and what to get and what to stay away from. I have heard some bad things about one of fords engines dot remember which one. The o ly thig I will be towi g is my 18ft boat other than that I need a truck with lots of room. I have seen them and think they have the most room. Anything out there equal to it.

i just got a 2014 f250 6.7 a couple of months ago, so far I get 15ish in city have not really seen why yet. However I did not buy it for the fuel mileage. It drives great, plenty of room and plenty of power, I don't even know my boat is back there.

If you want it I say get it.

Were you talking about a diesel? You asked about Gas mileage.

Get a 6.7liter diesel. Stay away from anything that isn't a 6.7liter diesel. How often you have to fill up is obviously going to depend on how much you drive. It cost me about $110 to fill up, but I have a LWB which has a 36gal tank as opposed to the SWB which has a 26 or 27gal tank.

^^^^^^^ Again Thanks.....most of my driving is here in town and my Chevy 1500HD is costing me a pretty penny. Like I said befor not really a Ford guy but that is a sweet looking truck and even the wife likes it, but with the price of diesel being high she is worried and the fact that I dont know how to work on it.
Gonna do some shopping around and see what happens. Thanks for all the input.
