I've had a pair of Herter's (before it they were bought out by whomever) since i was in high school. 800-1000 thinsulate neoprene, boot foot in size 13. I still wear them to this day. i bought the boot size 1-2 sizes larger than my actual shoe size for wearing two pairs of socks. wash them off after every use and keep them inside to prevent weathering.

Look at Rogers Toughman Waders. 140-160 for 1600 grams in the boots and 5mm. For the cold that I'm in, doesn't get much better. Reinforced knees, fleece-lined pockets, shell carrier, outside pocket, and D-rings if you need to attach something. Worth every penny and indestructible. I have hung up on barbed wire multiple times this year crossing fences. No holes yet.

I had a set of Cabela's Ultimate Hunting waders that lasted several years, and I liked them ok. I bought a pair of Drake EQ Waders about 3 years ago and I absolutely love them. Good magnetic pockets externally, very warm internal warming pocket, waterproof interior upper pocket. Comfortable, warm, extremely durable.

I wear Orvis breathables. Best waders I've ever owned. Use them for wade fishing and duck hunting the coast for the last 3 seasons.

Cabelas breathable waders. They're on sale in the bargain cave on their web site. Get the better ones. They wear well and have a lifetime warranty that covers almost anything- rips on barbed wire fences not included anymore. They have the boots built in with insulation. You can wear them over your undershorts in hot weather, over fleece pants in cool weather and over underarmour and wool long johns in cold weather.

My son bought them first, told me they were the only way to go, and now I use them. Here's whats in the cave now. Hurry before they're gone. I just noticed these have zippers. Mine do not, I assume the zippers don't leak and it would be nice not to have to do the 'roll em down and aim' technique when nature calls.

I am very rough on waders and I just cant see spending a fortune on them when no matter what they will end up with a hole in them.

                          ?
