    Breakfast burritos in DFW???

Hey guys I am looking for a good Mexican style breakfast burrito shop in the lewisville area...can't beat em in west Texas and can't find em in north Texas.

Homemade tortillas are essential! Hopefully some of you have stumbled upon a place up here!

    Thanks

I have been looking for 7-8 years and nothing...I did see where a Mexican joint opened in the last couple months on 407/Mcgee lane on NE corner in strip center that I still need to try.

There's a place off Mill St just down the street from All Star Archery. I can't remember the name but the guys at All Star can tell you where to go because that's who told me.

          Agreed.

It's burrito in New Mexico and taco in Texas.

Sorry, can't help in Lewisville area.

I ate at El Paisa Cocina Mexicana when I lived in DFW. It's off walnut hill so not in Lewisville, but it's worth a try. It's where all the Mexican construction guys go to eat.

Burritos and wraps are Cali. It used to be really hard to get breakfast tacos in DFW. I have heard they are showing up more now. Austin has had great ones for decades. Heck in central and south Texas every convenience store has them.

Little bitty old Wimberley has two joints with awesome tacos.

Grew up in the Austin area and always called them tacos. Moved to Dallas back in 2006 and everyone called them burritos. I thought what are these Yankees talking about its a TACO. There are few places in Dallas area to get "breakfast tacos" compared to central/south Texas. It's a Taco Dallas not burrito and don't tell me it has to do with the size of the tortilla.

Does closed ends make it a burrito? LOL. Otherwise it is just a big taco.

Sorry for hijacking with the taco vs burrito debate. By the way there is no debate. Eggs don't go om burritos.
And no, in this case size doesn't matter.
Last time I was in Dallas I was forced to eat donuts.

its called a taco if it is simply folded in half, if it is rolled with ends folded in, burrito.

A lot of gas stations have them around DFW as well. I live in Coppell and can name a couple gas stations with "taquerias" in them. They are pretty good too.
