        No you don't wash or brush them off, no they are not gritty at all, and no it does not taste like coffee.

                          First batch is out and gone. I left the coffee grounds on this one. I like it like this, the next batch we removed some if the grounds and spiced up the same. Should be out in a few.

                                Cooked at 500 for 5 min on each side and let sit for another 5 minutes before cutting.
