      Just to add another twist, don't forget about the hybrid style broad heads. LOL As stated above, once you shoot enough you will probably develop a preference for a style or particular head.

      There is no "best" broad head, but there can definitely be some that are better for the animal or situation than others. Lower poundage and shorter draw bows should probably stick to a cut on contact type head, while higher poundage and/or long draws can shoot anything reliably. Just find a broad head you are confident in and you will do just fine.
