I didn't buy a bale, I bought it in a bag from the feed store. I dumped it out along the hand corn I laid out and they pawed the alfalfa away to eat the corn!! Maybe one day they will eat it and get hooked...I am going to keep laying it out in different spots to try and get results.

I've tried it a few times at my place out here in the piney woods (Crockett area). It molded before they would touch it. Spread half of the bale around, left the other half intact. Might try it again sometime...

Waste of money where we hunt in Hardin Co. They do not like it/won't try it.

I think it depends how much natural browse is available. They stick with what they know if there is enough available.

i have been using it for well over 20 years all over the state and have never not had deer tear it up. And my dad has been using it for as long as I can remember.

I tried some a few years ago close to home with no luck, but haven't tried it on my current lease. I do mix in alfalfa pellets with my corn but they seem to pick out the corn

From my experience, you have to get a fresh bale of it. And break it all part. I've tried the cubes in the bags and it don't work at all.

The bale I put out I broke up into 6 small piles and it's been nutz around that area.
