Honda UTV's are starting to look better. When they 1st came out, I could not even look at them and I LOVE Hondas, have a 2005 Rancher AT that I would fight 3 ninjas for!

As for the mules, they look like they should be sold at Walmart of harbor freight.. Each new year seems to look worse.

        Hopefully Polaris will copy that!

I have a Kawasaki Tyrex 4 seater, it is a great machine, can chase pigs down at 55 mph across a plowed field, rides like a dream, only thing that may bother some is the bed size, it will hold 4 bags of corn with no problems, I put a receiver hitch rack on it if I need more carrying capacity. All the other machines mentioned are all good machines, go drive them and make your decision.

I bought the Honda Pioneer 2 seater and really havent gotten to use it very much so my opinion may change over time. So far, it has been great. I looked at several different brands and went with the Honda for a few reasons: 1) Automatic transmission--no belt, 2) best warranty available. It came with one year and I was able to extend it another three years for 600 bucks, 3) was about 1k cheaper than a comparable Ranger.
The down side is that Honda does not make very many accessories for them yet. The Polaris has a HUGE advantage in that area.
My wife and I have eight children and they are all grown. We (and they) have owned a whole lot of different brands of cars and trucks through the years. Honda has consistently been better to deal with on warranty issues through the years than any other automobile brand. They just completely repainted my sons 2008 Civic and did not charge one penny AND reimbursed him for some paint repair he already had done. I just hope they will stand behind the UTV with the same commitment.
I really think that if you stick with one of the major brands, pick the one that best suits your needs, and maintain it as you should, it will be hard to go wrong with just about any of them available today. Good luck!

We had good luck with our ranger but if I.had the money I would get a new.Honda.just because Honda's are indestructible

Yeah, like wrapping the bed latch points in electrical tape. I sure hope you didn't pay for it....

I'll try the tape, but my squeaks seem to be up front.

To be fair, I haven't done anything about it yet (except complain)

Can am commander! The ride and power on a can am machine speaks for itself.

I've had a Ranger for a little over a month and so far I am extremely pleased. Next purchase will be a Ranger Crew when the kids get a little bit older.

I have a 2012 Arctic Cat 700 HDX. It is a smooth ride and it seats three grown men across comfortably. I don't drive it a ton, but I have taken the family on joy rides, used it to get to hunting locations, worked it taking feeders and stands in and out, plowed food plots, hauled corn, towed "hay rides" with way too much weight on the trailer and the thing just keeps doing what I ask it to do.

I will say that there are WAY more options to accessorize a Ranger than there are for the Prowler HDX. The reason I didn't go with the Ranger was when I test drove the new ones, they were squeeking on the test drives.
