Have a 2002 that has been to hell and back from gator and duck hunting in wetlands to dove and deer hunting in west Tx. This thing won't quit and has been rolled twice. Once over the front into a creek and once backwards climbing a "hill". I don't think anything will make me get rid of it. It has only had yearly services done.

Have a 2010 Crew as well, love it! This is the family hauler and doesn't get the abuse the '02 does. Love the power and ride of this one.

I will never give another brand so much as a look after my experience...Polaris all the way!

Put some lithium grease in the rubber bushings on the rear suspension, that fixed it on my 2010 800xp.

we have two ranger diesel crews a 2011 and 2013. 100% dependable can't get stuck no matter how hard you try. The only issue was one glazing of a belt which I knew was going to happen when you pull a fully loaded f350 dually out of a creek bottom. We have kevlar tires which work very well until you run over antlers or ground stakes other than that nothing hurts them. The reason why we did not go with a kubota was the horsepower difference, the inability to shift from 1wd 2wd 4wd hi or low while not stopping although polaris recommends to slow under 1800rpm before changing which is no problem, the price was about the same for less of everything, less payload, less ground clearance. Attributes of the kubota we liked were the steel bed instead of plastic but we can't break our plastic bed loaded it with drill pipes dropped pipes on them and they won't break. Polaris also has more options than any other maker of utvs, we are getting the welding special in Feb already having it made now. It's another diesel crew but with steel bed with 3 gates so it makes it into a flat bed, the rear bench folds down with steel guard on the back, coming with a miller bobcat 250. We only go with diesels so I have nothing to say about any makers gas utvs.

Ranger crew diesel with a probox roof. Folks were mule fans but are seriously looking at a single seat version in the future.

It's pretty hard to burn up a belt on a ranger if its put in low when climbing and pulling. Great machines. I sold my ranger and bought a RZR and now I'm thinking of selling to buy another ranger

Had a 2012 single seat Ranger 800 and had it like they had it at the sports show. U know all Jacked UP, big aggressive tires etc. Would have climbed a pole if it could have got a bite. But after tearing up tie rods and tearing up all kinds of stuff it got expensive. Also had trouble with overheating in the summer. Polarus had a overheating problem and they made changes to the design on the 900 Ranger. So after looking around again I bought the 900 and left it stock. Pleased with the new ride. And I think with the improvements I think the overheating problem may be solved. I stayed with Polarus

we have a kawasaki mule.. the good with it is we got it for free.. the bad is you need a mouth piece to ride in it and it (and all the others I've been around) don't want to start and idle very well when its cold.. again, it was free.. if i were to go buy one id say polaris ranger..

Had two Mules, and one Kubota. Kubota got great mileage. Got a Ranger now and it's got the others beat IMO. Better ride , better speed if you need it , and has hauled any thing I put on it.
