No, Saban will probably process and cut the FG kicker because St. Nick is never wrong . Blame the kicker and throw him under the bus ; in reality Saban got outcoached in the Iron Bowl as he's not man enough to accept responsibility for the loss due to bad coaching decisions

I really don't have a favorite team in the NC game. That being said in my opinion Florida State, Auburn, and Alabama are the three best teams this year in college football. Since Auburn beat Bama in my opinion the two best teams this year are playing in the NC game. That being said I don't really who is deserving of number four the argument could be made for several teams but several ESPN analysts are putting Michigan State at the 4 spot. I can't get there. They beat Ohio State today, but I don't think they can hang with the top teams of the SEC or the big 12. We will see how the bowl season shakes out. IMO

It was a fun ride. No one ever got any separation this year.

Sooners cost me 9 as well but it was worth it to dream for a quarter or two in Floyd Casey.

I have to say that Texas truly needs to learn how to scout and develop quarterback talent. The QB position is the most important on the field. Clearly that was the difference in the losses for Texas this year. Case McCoy is not good. The defense played well enough to keep Texas in the game, but the turnovers were bad. They were bad against OSU. Look at his INT/TD ratio and you can see it plain as day. Oh well, they get a bowl game at least. This is the 4th time that they had the chance to take the prize and fell flat on their faces. All that up and coming talent sitting on the bench when there is so much at stake. Mack needs to move on.

As for the NC, I will not root for Florida State. Auburn will get my nod.

If OU gets a BCS bid, Texas gets torched by Oregon in the Alamo... That should warm your heart.

OU and Bama in the Sugar should suffice for your needs.

Oklahoma State and USCe/Mizzou is another.

And I still think Bama is the second best team in the country.
