How to silence a cable slide

I've been using the Alpine mach 5 and it works great.

Guys- NEVER put ANYTHING on your cable rod, it collects grit and will create more problems!
Change to a teflon slide as you have and that will correct your problem.

The teflon cable slide I installed is silent, problem solved. It is a limbsaver model that academy sells for $10. thanks for the tip. Woody
