House was built in 2001 so the breaker box is only 12 years old, its either a square d or GE I cant remember!

Had something close to that happen a couple years back. I had already left for work and my wife was a bus driver so she drove the kids to school. When they were leaving they didn't notice one of the cats snuck in so he got closed up in the house. The cat went nuts trying to get out. Jumping a tearing up blinds and stuff. We had one of those lamps you touch and it comes on(I will never one again) that in the cat's craziness it knock it over on the edge of a chair. The wife comes home in between her bus runs and smells something burning and smoke. She sees the lamp leaning on the chair smoldering, luckly the material the chair was made out of didn't burn fast(it was an old 70's chair my daughter found at a garage sale and like). She heard the cat meowing in a corner. We were lucky our whole house didn't burn down.
