I went duck hunting yesterday with my brother. I'm part of a lease with 7 properties and 42 hunters. You call in and the lease manager tells you where to go. Outside of our group I dont know any of the other hunters.
I met another group in the parking area and exchanged cordial greetings and found out where they were setting up. We had a decent morning and got 6 between the 2 of us. I only heard 2 volleys from their area. Got back to my truck and there is a spoonbill drake sitting on my tailgate and the other group is gone. I assume its the only duck they shot all day. I guess they thought they were being nice to give us another one. We shot enough times that we could have had 2 limits. There's no way they could have known how many ducks we got.
If you had shot your limit, get back to the truck and find an extra duck, what would you do?
