It just seems the weather man on TV always ha a big L behind fronts and a big H when weather is nice...

I'm gonna start paying more attention to this
Its true that a cold front will usually have an area of Low pressure right along the front....but once it passes the pressure will start rising and those cold frosty mornings (high pressure) are a hunters dream.

I saw a buck breeding a doe around 12:50pm. He was a good one, don't have him on camera but he's a 10 mainframe with double split brows. He was about 80yds+ and will go 150" at the least. Going to pull my rifle out in the am see if he shows. It's the peak of the rut here in weatherford I believe. Saw several mature bucks today.

so based on this time, looks like the pressure and solunar tables were in agreement of GOOD...

          good luck getting him...

I wanted to circle back to this thread and close the loop. Like I stated I keep hunting and fishing logs; however, solunar tables are only a PIECE of the information that is archived. Solunar tables not unlike pressure studies, temperature, wind direction/speed are all tools in the box. Anybody who puts all their bits on one of the above is probably going to have sketchy results. More often a hunter or angler that pays attention to one pays attention to many of the variables that drive success. Of course even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and again but what we are taking about here is swinging the odds in our favor. I would rather be a student of something than follower of nothing.
