                If for no other reason than I don't want to have to worry about an arrow hitting something. A limb, my knee, etc... Also that is more to vibrate and possibly cause noise.

                  I shoot with mine on all the time. Practice like you hunt. I'd rather have it handy on my bow.

                          I drove a nail in to the tree i hunt and hang it on that. I also lay my bow on my lap while hunting and a quiver wouldn't sit as well on my lap so i take it off.

                            Practice with it on & fully loaded. hunt with it off usually unless its a stalk. its like training with weights for me.
