We have a metal bacon grease container that stays in our fridge. Its got a strainer in the top so when you pour in the grease the strainer catches the crumbs.

      Looks exactly like this.

Oh yeah got to love bacon grease! Made a big pot of gumbo this past Saturday and used bacon grease to make the homemade roux! First time doing this and now I won't do it any other way!

I have not seen one of those in years. My Grandma always had one in her kitchen.

We used to have one. I think my grandmother may still have hers. I need to get me one. I save all my bacon grease in a mason jar.

My Grannie did the same thing. There's something about fresh yard eggs fried in bacon grease. YUM!

In the winter, she would give our dogs a treat. Watered down bacon grease and water, heated and then poured over their dry food.

                Tina loved smoked wild hog.
She suggested bacon wrapped wild hog.
Bacon wrapped pork? I only laughed at her until we tried it!

I have one of those, but I used it to hold stray hunting stuff.
Tina won't let me cook anything with bacon grease.

I keep my bacon grease in an old pickle jar in the fridge. Add a little to pan fried pork chops and you can literally feel your arteries clogging. But oh so good.

I'm 31 and save my bacon grease. Cook chicken fried back strap with it. Cook eggs with it. When I make corn bread I line the pan with bacon grease. Sure is good.

This is about the time of the year when my step dad fries an entire box of "ends and pieces". My mom cooks so much food during the holidays that requires bacon grease that he just fries all the bacon up on one day outside on the big fryey and saves all the grease.

We usually sit around drinking beer and eating bacon until we can't stand it anymore.

There is a jar in our refrigerator for bacon grease. Every time we cook bacon the grease gets poured in the jar for use in other recipes. It is a must have at my house!

Bacon grease is great in a pot of beans too. I wouldn't put in liver and onions though, because it's probably the only thing I won't eat

                            HAMBURGERS in a COWBOY COOKER/WOK

When I cook hamburgers at the ranch....
I buy two lbs of BACON.
I cook the bacon up in the disc cooker.
I then leave the bacon grease in and put the hamburger patties in the bacon grease to cook them !!!!!!

Then you can snack on some bacon, as you cook plus have bacon to put on the burgers when done..

                            OUTSTANDING...

ESPECIALLY if you are cooking VENISON BURGERS !!

Always have some stored in the fridge. Lots of uses but mainly use it for refried beans !!
