Yeah, there is an argument to that "BB turn black when they mature" theory... Some say the dominant buck turns black, regardless of age... I've seen 20"+ BB that are golden, explain that to me? Some may never turn black...

If I'm paying to shoot a bb, I should be able to kill whatever bb I like.i dont have enuff bb experience to judge a mature brown from an immature brown.

I had a friend that shot one that straight taped at 21 inches on another ranch that had absolutlely no black in it.

Rules are rules. I left KJO in June ticked off! I had a nice axis buck still in velvet about 15yards from me for 10-15min and Keith wont let you shoot em while in velvet. I made the same statement to my buddy that PSD Ryan just made. I chose to book my next hunt with Quatro B. Gonna give them a shot.
