You could treat it like this....
Syllabus....syllabuses....syllabi. All would be correct with the greek plural being the most accepted version. Now, that would mean we would have to put an i at the end...Doei or Doi...not to be confused with Doa. For that matter, why not just say them doe????
Not sure why, but its been buggin me with so many saying that the plural of Doe is Doe when it is actually Does. Example- I saw 4 Doe
