I guess I'm an oddball. I set mine for 7:30 and 4:30 and don't ever touch it.

The Kenco aka Smart Timer works similar to what I am talking about. But they don't sale a timer they sale a feeder motor and timer unit. The unit is not a great feeder unit. I am talking about a greatly improved timer only - to replace the timer in the feeder you guys have in the field today.
Thanks for the feed back. I will keep working on this and if I can get it going I ask for some help with test units to get the bugs out.

RickIf you need some test subjects for the cost of materials, I'd join your test team. Let me know if I can help.

It's a good idea and one I have thought about for awhile but don't have the knowledge to make. I personally and everyone that I hunt with (all bow hunters) perfer our feeders to go off a little before first light. We like this because it gives the deer time to come in and get settled in thier routine of eating.
