Depends on what broke off. On low fence we aren't always allowed the luxury of a high percentage chance of him being back. However, I have passed on several because of large breakage.

If it is just a tip or a brow I'm fixing it....but I'm not passing on a 140+" deer because he lost 3" of antler....sorry...

A full G2 or beam has gotten a pass so far.

I'm not against repair either if I have a pic of him.

Pass I think. If I get to see this one again I will pass, again. I'm telling all my family to pass as well. Hope neighbors feel the same.

What would you do with a buck that has a broken rack?

                  I've done all three.

I've passed on buck that broke major bone.

I've shot a buck with a lot of battle scars (cape and horns) and had him mounted as is.

I've also shot a buck that I had several trail cam photos of. He broke a kicker off and I had it repaired.

                  It's up to you.

Whatever you think or feel is right...

I would pass or shoot and keep as is.

There is no way I could have a taxi do repair on one and then mount it and feel right about it.

Depends on how much is broken.

A main Beam or g2 or, g3 busted pass for sure. A brow tine or small g4. Busted on a mature deer. Probably taking that shot.

I have no issue with having the taxi fix a busted brow or small Crab claw.

Or have him mounted with war wounds, just the way you shot him? Or how about have the taxi fix him back up?
I have always let them pass
