Well I sent your pic to a predator guru friend of mine. Should hear back from him this evening. If he says kitty I will definitely believe it. The man sleeps and breathes for predators and is durn good.

And I feel that wound is pretty bad for a yote, but possible.

Usually with a coyote or any dog they try and attack the haunches first.

Could be a cat. I'd have to be able to see the wound more closely to be sure. Could also be an argument with a barbed wire fence or a lot of other sharp things. Maybe y'all can see better on computers but it isn't that clear on my phone. Interesting pic regardless of what happened. Bet the doe will be fine.
