If you switch, then in your mind YOU might not be a bow hunter but to say this in general is total BS. We are all hunters and what you have in your hand at that moment classifys you as to what type of hunter you are and what type of kill you made.

Gun during gun season. I plan on trying my luck pistol hunting this year though. I may hunt a time or 2 with my bow during rifle season.

I'll be bow all year. Rifle hunted once last year and I had to pull out the glass to see what was at the feeder. So I decided I won't be doing it anymore. I just like being so close them and they have no idea I'm there. My wife bow hunts until it gets too cold and she will have a heater with her rifle hunting.. Ha. Of course if we are varmit calling then the 17hmr or 22-250 or the 223 comes out.

Whatever in the heck I want to hunt with. Im not a bowhunter or a rifle hunter. Im a hunter... Period! Sometimes I just have the need to reach out and put somethings lights out...

Always and only a bow for deer, elk, moose, bear, etc. I'll use anything I can get my hands on for a pig.

Both. On the home place it will be bow only if I can help it (sometimes a cousin or uncle needs a deer and I will take my .22-250 out and its over and done within 15 min) but I prefer to bow hunt.

on other places some aren't set up for bowhunting so I will take the rifle.
