got the Blackjack I and it's a champ. my daughter has one too and loves it.

AT&T pretty good here in DFW. rarely do I get a dropped call or have no bars.

check this: make sure the string hasn't come undone from the tin can on the other end. if that happens you can't hear that good! ;-)

I think it is just the towers here in College Station Chris. They were doing it about a week ago and then it stopped now it is back to acting up again.

I dont have any issues with my ATT Blackberry even in remote locations

i have the original Blackjack and havent had any problems to date, even in the crummy area south of Hebbronville. wanting to get the blackberry soon, maybe when i start a new job.

What do you guys in Throckmorten and Baylor County use? My buddy says his AT&T works up to about 10 miles from his lease and then nada.

Had a few problems on Sunday morning but other then that it works great.

My AT&T Crackberry is better than my Motorola AT&T Razr. Overall I've been happy with AT&T nationwide and here at home. Best coverage for me last year and I traveled from coast to coast without issue using Razr.

lt's not all the original Blackjacks, just a large amount that were assembled during a specific time frame.

If you have the issues mentioned above on the BlackJack, Customer Service should be able to tell from your serial number if yours is in that lot.
