One thing I have learned is--- my release has 2 homes.
    1) on my wrist
    2) strapped to my bow

    NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Good thing I found out now instead of tomorrow morning at 7 with a deer in front of me

Yeah that would stink for sure. If you do buy a different release than the one you own, be sure to take some practice shots between now and your hunt. I tried my buddies release once and was off by a significant amount due to the difference in anchor.

Little discouraging to hear. Didn't bring a target:banghead:

This is what I do I forgot it once on a hunt and never want it to happen again

Always make sure and strap mine to the riser on my bow if it's hunting season or not

Have you reached academy yet? If not, pick up a few feild points and a cheap target. Heck, you may get lucky and they have a range for fitting folks. You dont have to shoot far. You will know within 10 yards if you are good to go or not.

If mine isn't on my wrist, it's in the case with my bow. Hope you find one tonight.
