Ok I have always taken my deer to Jacksons and have been pretty happy with them up until last year. I took a big doe in and when I got it home I noticed I was short on my backstrap (like seven or eight small bags when I usually get way more). I have trusted them in the past that I was getting the same deer back that I dropped off but they have gotten so popular and grown so much now I'm not so sure. I shot a doe this past weekend and just wondering what the GS thinks. For those of you that use Jacksons should I use them again or try someone new? Possibly Maxwell's? Also has anyone ever had an issue with not getting back what they thought they should?

I go to Bay Area Processing in Pasadena. I have never had a problem. Their sausages are amazing! Some jalapeño and cheese summer sasuage will get your taste buds goin. The only down side i can think of is there good and they know it. So there prices are a lil high, but I pay it every year...

Alan's Sausage Kitchen in Huffman does a dang good job. I am normally a do it at home processor but I had a late season kill and the timing was not right for me to self process at home. Alan's did a great job, smoked sausage is really good, loved the deluxe burger with jalpenos and the jerky was really good too.
Average prices, really quick turn around and very clean operation.
