Seriously nobody is going to comment on eating beaver, or wearing it for a hat?

                  This place is slipping!

BTW if you leave a coyote lay nothing else will eat it either... If buzzards don't even want it,I'm out!

I know what you mean, but,

Beaver (the guy in the water with big teeth) is not an uncommon food in the North of the US. Kind of like nutria in LA. It is not one of my favorites, slightly ahead of porcupine. But it is not all that bad. Better than bear imho.

Coyote: Never have tried that. Have eaten dog in the Phillipines and Korea and they are closely related. So, probably about the same. A little lean, but close your eyes and think of something else. Not to bad, maybe a little on the sweet side.

As to everybody who wants to jump in here and speak about monkey meat in the PI, it was not monkey, that is illegal, it was dog.

That would be a big negatory ghost rider.

Any uses for the hide in summer months? Beaver is open season year around.

I'm sure coyote can't be too much worse than fox. Of course fox isn't very good-it's actually quite gamey. Don't ask how I know that!

if you shoot one with mange it will save you the step of having to remove the hair.
