Doesn't bother me that you asked about a previously discussed topic. Why do People get so serious? By the way I used one and had a small buck alert. But maybe I used it wrong? I took it back because there was something I wanted more.

Ive only used it once and felt like the deer could smell it. Here is my reason. There was no wind which may have been the problem. I could smell its not strong but distinct smell so I would assume a deer could smell it for sure. A buck came in to 20 yards. I did not move a wink and he spooked so my best guess is he smelled the ozonics. I have the same scent free routine and had not been busted in that spot before so its easy to assume it was the ozonics that spooked him. Now I did kill him but that was pure luck. When he spooked I immediately drew back. I had what looked to be a clear 30 yrd shot but my arrow hit an invisible brier vine. The luck came in when my arrow deflected right across the bucks jugular. So long story short... I wouldnt use one again, but I have friends that swear by them.

Ozonics works for me. I had 4 deer downwind @ 7 yds on Sat morning and did not get busted. It is not foolproof but does help tremendously.

I had two deer within 5 yards of me Saturday morning using ozone. They knew I was there, but I don't think they smelled me, here's why. I had been watching a couple of other deer in another pasture, hoping they would come my way. When they didn't, I leaned forward to set my bow down and BOOM, out pops these two. They had to have been less than 5 yards behind me, because for them to come in the way they did, the opening between very thick brush and my brush blind is only about 5 or 6 yards wide. They were upwind at that stage, but they saw me lean forward slightly and the ran around in front of me and stopped. The doe then proceeded to walk all the way around to directly downwind of me and stared at me. I don't think they knew what I was, just that something was in that brush pile and it moved. They both moved around watching me for a good 4-5 minutes before they left. When they did leave, they didn't blow up and bolt, they just kind of trotted off.

Had 9 hogs down wind of me last Sunday between 17 and 25 yards, they didn't spook and I ended up taking one of the smaller ones. My point is it works and in south Texas brush you never know where they'll pop out .....I'm happy with mine

Well if it works I sure could have used one this morning. I got busted by every deer that came in. Unfortunately one was my target buck. I guess sometimes no matter how scent free you think you just aren't. I didn't even eat burritos this time before I went out.

I always get a good laugh when I read something like this. If the deer could smell the ozonics then the deer could smell you. I don't care how good your scent control is when a deer is that close, he will still be able to smell you if he is down wind of you. So my question to you is how do you know he busted out because of the smell of the Ozonics and not your smell. Just because you haven't got busted there before means nothing.

I have used a ozone machine the last two years and I have no doubt they work but not in all cases. They work best for me when I hunting in a blind. I had a nice buck come in from behind the blind last year, the wind was blowing to him from the blind and he had his nose in the air the whole time trying to smell me, he walked right up to the back of the blind and I could hear him trying to smell me. He walked right around the blind and stepped out at 5 yards. Lucky for him he wasn't on the hit list.

I have had my Ozonics 200 for 2 years now. It has helped me get close to deer I never would have seen otherwise! Case in point: I'm hunting public land in central tx. Patiently hunting an elusive 12 point that shows up on my GC but never see the swamp donkey in person. It's about 12:00 and a north wind is blowing about 10 MPH. I'm about to call it a day when I see the brute walking across the open field behind me. He's got to take about 10 more steps before he catches my wind, he's constantly got his nose to the air like all dominant deer do and once he gets to my wind his nose goes up again. The Ozonics had to have saved me because 1 minute later he's in my shooting lane 45 yards out. I have to turn backwards So I'm facing the tree i'm hanging in and drop to my knees to get the arrow under a limb. I missed low under his chest and behind his front legs but that sold me on the Ozonics!

Completely agree. I've seen deer act more calm than ever. I do agree with being in the blind being the best attribute to it. I swear by these machines. This was this evening, and I watched the does trying to smell me since the wind was blowing right at them.

Now on a different note. I've read an article where a deers since of smell was just a little more than the equivalent of a hound. A pig can smell 10x greater than that.

A month or so ago my girlfriend and I were in the tree pig hunting. I wasn't checking the wind direction on occasion like you should in a tree. We had a pig come in directly down wind from in a field. Got right under us and busted us. I checked the wind directly after and moved the ozonics to point with the wind. Not five minute later we had 10 pigs come in from the exact same direction and never even acted nervous. That's when I was sold. She shot her first pig then. Added note to that. We don't shower down with scent free soap or wash our camo in scent free stuff in the summer, because we don't go all out on pigs. We do spray down though. We have dedicated stands to pig hunt in. That being said, a pig could've easily busted us without the ozonics.

I like to think of it as an added tool to use. We have spent tons trying to remain scent free. We have a specific room for camo that is lined in cedar wood, so all the camo absorbs that scent year round. I have two different sets of the scent lok/blocker gear. We take every step possible to not have any scent in our clothing, especially during deer season. I have still been busted with all this. I've also seen it all work to perfection. But I think the ozonics is the missing link.

It works but you can hear the fan but it doesnt spook them.
