Yep I've been hunting in the Sam Houston NF over those berry patches for years! Yes, deer do love them

We have them everywhere, and I mean everywhere, on our place near Easterly, and I've never seen the deer go after them. Maybe it's a case of fewer options further east?

that may be. when they get ripe, deer will spend a couple of weeks slamming them here and then taper odd. I always see an immediate impact at the feeders when a big crop gets ripe.
